25: New Hand / New Betting Limits

A: A new level begins officially upon floor announcement or audio signal by the tournament clocking system. The new betting limits apply to the next hand. B: Hands begin on the first riffle, push of the shuffler button, or the dealer push. If a hand mistakenly begins at the previous level, the hand will continue at that level once substantial action occurs (Rule 38). If a new level begins during the dealer push, the incoming dealer will deal one hand at the previous level. C: If the dealer fails to recognize an official level change, any person may call attention to it and the dealer must immediately apply the correct betting limits.
